Today we celebrate the Most Holy Trinity – the profound nature of God’s existence – the three distinct persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the One God Head. This Divine communion of love is the source and model of all love. Each of us is invited to participate in the divine life of the Holy Trinity. As members of the Church, we share in the mission of proclaiming the love of the Father, following the example of the Son and being guided by the Holy Spirit.
In the Holy Trinity, we see the wonder of unity and harmony in the interplay of creation; from the delicate ecosystems that sustain life to the intricate cycles of the seasons, there is an inherent harmony at work – with a symbolic presence of the Most Holy Trinity, God the Father giving us creation and life. His only Son, showing us how to live and the force of the Holy Spirit being our guide and source of strength.
