Next port of call brought us to a Mexican Taverna for a succulent chilli con carne. (Suspect the chef was actually Russian as the vedgetarian alternative was mushroom Strogonoff)  We then travelled North to the United States while being entertained by "Kate Francis". On arrival our dessert was introduced with a line dancing demonstration given by our American hosts   The dessert was a tempting array of American delights including tropical fruit cocktail, chocolate gateaux, muffins and of course good old American apple pie. We bid goodbye to the US and set sail back to the EC for cheese and biscuits with our coffee in Holland.  "Kate Francis" then took the floor for her final session with a varied selection of songs from her extensive repertoire ending with Danny Boy. A truly memorable performance gratefully appreciated by all on board. |
